Daley has over 21 years of experience within both the public and higher education sectors. She has made several contributions to The UWI including service as a Senior Auditor, Audit Manager and Senior Audit Manager in the Management Audit Department between 2008 and 2013 at the Mona Campus and Regional Headquarters and as Senior Audit Manager for the St. Augustine, Five Islands and Cave Hill campuses prior to her current appointment. Daley is a Fellow Chartered Accountant (FCA) through the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Jamaica (ICAJ) and her professional experience is complemented by her academic background, which includes a Master of Science (MSc) in Accounting and Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Accounting and Management from The UWI Mona Campus, and certifications in Accounting (ACCA), Risk Management Assurance (CRMA), Internal Auditing (CIA) and Fraud Examination (CFE). Additionally, Daley brings a wealth of proficiency gained through her contributions to the public service. In addition to her continued contributions and service to student life and to the wider University over the years, she served in various capacities including Chair of the Supervisory Committee for EDUCOM Credit Union and Treasurer for the Jamaica Red Cross Kingston and St Andrew Branch. She is a retired Beach and Indoor National Team Volleyball Player. She is one of the Continental Beach Volleyball Referees for the North America, Central America and Caribbean (NORCECA) region, the Manager for the Jamaican Senior Women’s volleyball team and also serves as a Justice of The Peace for Kingston and St. Andrew. She was recently nominated to sit on the inaugural NORCECA Athletes’ Commission. Over the years, Daley has received several awards from The UWI for her contributions to the University Management Audit Department in the areas of leadership, outstanding performance and team-building. She has also been the recipient of the RJR Sports Foundation Award for Sporting Excellence in Volleyball among other sporting honours throughout her sporting career since 1998.
