Fernandes is a Hall of Fame broadcaster with over 40 years as a CEO and managing director in Barbados and across the region. He is the longest-serving elected President of The Caribbean Broadcasting Union and has chaired several boards in Barbados, most recently The Grantley Adams International Airport. He is currently chairman of Barbados Golf Club and Capital Media HD.
