Police investigate unnatural death at Maycocks Bay, St Lucy

Police are continuing investigations into the death of a man around 12:30 p.m. at Maycocks Bay, St Lucy.

Police spokesman Acting Station Sergeant Michael Blackman told Barbados TODAY the incident involved two brothers who got into an altercation.

Blackman said friends parted the brothers but one was able to escape and armed himself with a spear gun.

The deceased was injured in his face, under his left eye.

Medical assistance was immediately sought but he was pronounced dead at the scene.
