CARAIA has used virtual road shows to expand private capital networks in the Caribbean, as it seeks to solidify the region as an important investment destination. “Our webinars help investors and entrepreneurs to further appreciate the opportunities for tailored financing through the alternative investment markets” said CARAIA director Audrey Richards. “It is our aim to increase the potential for local and cross-country business growth, accelerate learning in industry best practices, and increase the region’s voice and visibility in global private equity, private credit, and venture capital markets.” Prime Minister Mia Mottley has agreed to send a video message to the webinar, CARAIA’s chairman Chris Williams will welcome everyone, and director general of the Organisation of Eastern Caribbean States, Dr. Didacus Jules, will also share his remarks by video message. Eppley’s Justin Nam will moderate a panel discussion that is a key component of the webinar. The panellists confirmed are: Barry O’Brien of Williams Caribbean Capital, Gregory Hill of Trinidad’s Ansa Group, and Simone Hudson of NCB Capital Market’s Stratus Funds.
