Kishmar Young of Chase Gap Hall’s Road; Wayne Bryan of School Lane, Hall’s Road; Romario Daisley of Tramore Lane, Waterford and Rashon Sealy 18, of Alleyne Land, Bush Hall, all of St Michael, are accused of the November 8, 2018, murder of Mayers, who was shot and killed in Bank Hill while making his usual bread rounds. When they appeared in the No. 4 Supreme Court today, Madame Justice Laurie-Ann Smith-Bovell set April 20, 2022 as a firm trial date, with a possibility that it could begin on March 28. Queen’s Counsel Michael Lashley is representing Daisley and Bryan, Romain Marshall is appearing on behalf of Sealy while Safiya Moore is representing Young.
