The Barbados Estate Agents and Valuers Association (BEAVA) has launched a website, which will allow its members to advertise their properties available for rent and sale on the island. Through a partnership with Caribbean New Media and the Barbados Property Service, BEAVA now has exclusive access to a portal, which will be used to host information on all properties available to be bought or rented. During a launch at the Barbados Yacht Club on Friday, BEAVA’s Council Chair Head of Real Estate, Gary Ramsay, said the website will allow members and customers to have one central place to find properties in Barbados. “In terms of what that means obviously for our clients, it means having one central portal where if you already have a website it automatically aggregates that information to the new portal, which is a facility currently in place,” he said. “So, it is basically a turnkey solution and our ultimate goal is to create a one stop shop for all real estate listings in Barbados. So, for end users they have a facility to go and search depending on what property they are looking for; long term, short term, rentals, commercial properties or residential listings,” Ramsay said.
