Berger Paints Barbados Limited, a primary player in the paint industry in Barbados, has appointed Rhea Singh as its new general manager. That appointment took effect from January 3, 2022.
She holds a BSc in Sociology and Management and an MSc (Distinction) in Management from the University of the West Indies.
Singh is an accomplished professional with over 23 years of experience. She previously worked at Alstons Marketing Company (AMCO) – Trinidad, for 15 years where she gained a wealth of leadership experience bolstering business growth across diverse sectors including distribution, financial services and hospitality, with key responsibilities in areas such as organisational leadership, strategic planning, and brand development.
She also served as a director on two ANSA McAL Boards – Alstons Marketing Company and Bryden Stokes Barbados during the period 2013 to 2017.
Singh held the role of vice president of the TGI Fridays brand in Trinidad and Jamaica for four years where she guided the business during the pandemic.
