Jamal Jamie Crichlow, of London Bourne Towers, St Michael is the latest accused sent to the St Philip facility on such charges. The 34-year-old appeared on Monday before Magistrate Manila Renee at the District ‘A’ Magistrates’ Court sitting at Cane Garden, St Thomas. He is accused of having a firearm in his possession on February 3 without a valid licence and 11 rounds of ammunition without the necessary permit. He was not required to plead to the indictable charges. Crichlow, who is represented by attorney-at-law Angela Mitchell-Gittens, will make his next court appearance in the District ‘A’ Traffic Court on February 22.
