Jason James Mayers, a resident of 1st Avenue Graves Land, St Michael, appeared before Magistrate Kim Butcher accused of breaching Paragraph (3) Subparagraph (1) of the Emergency Management (COVID-19) (Curfew) (No.2) Directive 2022, when he was allegedly found along 3rd Avenue Goodland, St Michael about 3:21 a.m. on February 8 when he was not a member of an essential service or someone with an emergency. No plea was taken from the 38-year-old when he appeared in the District ‘A’ Magistrates’ Court. With no objection from prosecutor Ralph Rollock, Mayers was granted bail in the sum of $1 000 and told to appear before the District ‘C’ St Matthias Magistrates’ Court on February 17.
