This was for work done for Purity Bakeries and was complemented by 10 other ADDY awards for Purity, Flow, Sagicor, Banks Breweries, Norman Centre and Red Advertising itself. Commenting on the awards, Jevan Jutagir, Managing Director of Red, said: “It was truly a delight to win a Best of Show, especially in such an important discipline as Social Media. This year we are in a transition having recruited a new Creative Director, Sophie Charles-Barber. Hence, while we have won an impressive number of awards, we look forward to seeing what she will bring to the Agency’s strong creative output. These results give us a strong incentive to keep producing superior creative work and maintaining our place at the top of the regional rankings.” Speaking specifically on Red’s performance vis a vis Barbados, Jutagir stated: “It is amazing that we continue to win the most awards in Barbados…and have done so consistently for 19 years. We are seeing new challengers emerging in our home market and this inspires us to go for the magical 20 this year. No agency in Barbados has kept at the top for 19, let alone 20 years.” You Might Be Interested In A simpler way to bank Make wise choices A family affair The ADDY awards is the creative award show of the American Advertising Federation (AAF) of which the Caribbean Advertising Federation (CAF) is a member.
