According to lawmen, a Canadian national, who has been resident in Barbados for the past 12 years, was at his home, along with four other occupants who were in another section of the house, when two masked men entered, armed with what appeared to be a machine gun, and demanded money while threatening to shoot him. The man, fearing for his life, handed over money to the masked men, after which they ran off. The assailants were joined by a third man who was on the outside waiting.
