Shortly before 5 a.m. police received a report of shots fired in the areas of Block # 17 and Block # 19, Fernihurst, Black Rock, St Michael. On arrival police were told that at least two men had been shot. The 1st individual, a 25-year-old from Bush Hall, St Michael, received injuries to his lower stomach, lower right back, left buttocks, hands, fingers, and suspected internal organ damage. He was transported by taxi to the QEH for medical attention. The second injured person, a 36-year-old man, received lower back injuries. He was transported by a private vehicle to the QEH.
