Nicholas Archer, a long-time enthusiast of The Barbados Lottery games is the island’s newest Mega 6 Jackpot winner, having recently claimed the top prize of $392,500 with a quick pick bet with the numbers: 04, 07, 15, 19, 28 and 33.

Archer, an ardent fan of The Barbados Lottery for two decades described his Mega 6 Jackpot victory as “amazing”.

The 43-year-old purchased his winning ticket along with Super Lotto and Double Draw tickets at The Barbados Lottery retail agent located at the One Boscobelle Complex in St. Peter and happily returned there to collect his winning cheque.

With this big win after 20 years, Archer seems highly motivated to keep trying his luck, especially at his favourite Mega 6 game, noting that he loves it and that he will also encourage others to “keep playing”. Archer plans on helping his mother with his winnings and will also save some.

Sam Layne, the proprietor of One Boscobelle Complex where the winning ticket was purchased, described the player’s Mega 6 victory as one for the Boscobelle neighbourhood.

“I feel very happy and glad that someone from the neighbourhood, a regular customer who shops here and plays here has had the opportunity through The Barbados Lottery and through us, to win and enrich themselves.

“I wish Mr. Archer all the success and I have a strong feeling he will reinvest his money so he can increase his financial standing in life and that his family and immediate friends will also benefit.”

He further noted that by doing business with The Barbados Lottery, he has witnessed a lot of growth in his company which has been in operation for approximately two years. He attributed this growth to the fact that many loyal supporters of the lottery now purchase their tickets at that outlet and support his business complex in general.

“I’m looking forward to more big wins and want the next winner to come from this area so the winnings can be circulated within the community,” Layne stated. Shelly Ann Hee Chung, General Manager for IGT Antilles Operation – the operators of The Barbados Lottery, congratulated Archer on becoming the island’s newest Jackpot winner.

“Our team at The Barbados Lottery, is elated to learn of Mr. Archer’s Mega 6 Jackpot win.

He is an unwavering supporter and his victory was long in the making and we wish him the best of success with his earnings and for more big wins with The Barbados Lottery.”

The Barbados Lottery has paid out over $2.5M in jackpot and other prizes to the many lucky Mega 6 winners thus far for 2022. For 2021 over $4 million was paidto Mega 6 winners.

Starting from $1 per ticket with four draws per week, you too can be a winner with Mega 6.  Mega 6 continues to be a favourite of the suite of seven games in The Barbados Lottery’s game portfolio, with its proceeds providing financial support to the Lottery’s Beneficiaries: The Barbados Olympic Association, The Barbados Turf Club, The Barbados Cricket Association and The National Sports Club Council and their sports, youth and cultural activities across Barbados.(PR)
