Rowe’s passion is making businesses

Tanukeuno-Ashock Rowe is a serial entrepreneur who is the owner of Affordable Advertising and Marketing and Tanup Entertainment Inc which she began in 2018.

Rowe said that she decided to start Affordable Advertising Inc. to allow people to have quality marketing services without breaking the bank.

“I started both companies to ensure that business persons can have exposure for their businesses and their services without breaking the bank, as I currently do marketing for all my businesses personally, as well as utilize services of other marketers, I realized that some packages would be outside of the scope most people could afford, especially those now starting out and those who had staff to pay as well.

“A lot of people believe that marketing and promotion have to be expensive to be effective and therefore do not even try to hire an agency to give them that needed push to get their product noticed, most say they will get the clients first and then do marketing which seldom works,” she said.

Thus, she realized that she could offer her clients the knowledge and experience that she has gained as marketing and branding are two integral pillars in one’s business.

“Marketing and Branding play an integral part in a business succeeding. You would recognize that the more established companies place a substantial part of their budget on having consistent marketing.

Therefore, if you want to have your business recognized and create a steady following of clientele, you need to invest in your product and your service, and you should have your own pages on social media dedicated to your business in addition to marketing. With the world becoming even more global, one of the benchmarks for any business is to have that social media footprint which would aid the business in attracting customers on a local, regional and international scale,” she said.

The former St Patrick’s Roman Catholic School student realized that her marketing services should not be limited to the simplicities of basic marketing but also should include the visual side as well.

“Tanup Entertainment Inc. is geared towards the visual side of marketing where we promote via commercials and most recently our new show In Your Biz a brainchild of my fiancé and me, that’s being launched to showcase the best businesses and spots in Barbados. We are looking to feature both new and more established businesses and the best spots and we are going to take Barbados by storm.

We began this initiative to assist entrepreneurs as we are cognizant of the ever-increasing prices in the market, thus we wanted to offer fellow entrepreneurs an affordable alternative with a wide reach,” she said.

Rowe said that her company also offers Artiste Management and Event Planning which are tailored to the needs of her clients as well.

“Our artistes’ management and event planning are also affordable and custom fit. Our main objective is to help others still have funds to live a comfortable life to thrive not just survive, after promoting themselves and or their business,” she said.

The serial entrepreneur said she knows first-hand that many persons especially small and medium-sized enterprises can benefit from the services being offered by her companies.
