Ms. Knight, who took up the position effective June 27th, holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Spanish and Management and a Master of Science Degree in International Management, both from the University of the West Indies. These academic qualifications coupled with over a decade of experience in Sales, Marketing, and Communications equip her with the tools necessary for a successful and rewarding journey at Republic Bank (Barbados) Limited. Ms. Knight transitions to the Financial Services sector after several successful years in the high-volume, fast-paced Distribution Sector. She has held several key managerial roles at leading institutions across the island. She most recently served for the last two and a half years as Business Unit Head at Bryden Stokes Ltd. where she had oversight of the sales and marketing of several large food portfolios. Prior to this, she worked as the Sales and Marketing Manager at Hipac Limited for seven years where she was instrumental in the management and marketing of the local brand, Farmer’s Choice. Ms. Knight also held several key positions in the BHL group of companies including Commercial Manager for the Pinehill Dairy. Ms. Knight, a high-performing, results-oriented individual, values the importance of team and employee engagement. She has charted an indelible path of growth for the institutions she has served with distinction.
