The dancehall concert features two of the biggest names in music, international recording artists Skillibeng and Shenseea performing at the National Stadium. The company behind the show, Dream Team Entertainment, promises that it will be an unforgettable night, as Barbadians and those across the world will be treated to the musical fare offered not only by the headline acts but local artistes and deejays as well. Noting that the event provides much needed economic opportunities for vendors, distribution companies and local service providers, Dream Team Entertainment said that this allows patrons the opportunity to attend a major reggae/dancehall show since the ease of COVID-19 restrictions in the last two years. The promoters also believe that hosting the show at the National Stadium, which has been cleared as a safe venue by the authorities, brings back that nostalgic feeling of hosting major shows at the Waterford location and allows younger people to have that experience as well. The show, which begins at 9 p.m, will be held on the football field and the track of the National Stadium with absolutely no patrons allowed in the stands of the facility. Dream Team Entertainment assures that security is paramount and personnel will be present within and on the perimeter of the venue. While the company is new to the entertainment scene, the principals behind Dream Team Entertainment have over 20 years in the local entertainment business and specialize in hosting events and providing party rental equipment. Its aim is to revive the entertainment arena in Barbados and the region and provide a platform for local and regional artistes to showcase their talents.
