Aroca, 58, of #20 De Octubre, Santa Marta, Columbia has been charged with unlawful possession of cannabis; trafficking cannabis; possession with intent to supply cannabis; disembarking without the consent of an Immigration Officer and entering Barbados other than a port of entry. He was not required to plead to the indictable charges. The accused was represented by attorney-at-law Shadia Simpson while Station Sergeant Glenda Carter-Nicholls represented the state. He was remanded until September 7.
