Some staffers of Barbados TODAY descended on Carlton Variety Bar & Grille at Lower Carlton, St James on Saturday night to show their appreciation for former colleague Jamelia Benskin.

Benskin, who recently departed from the company after a 12-year stint, was treated to a night of excellent cuisine while reminiscing on the fun times she had with colleagues, past and present. She thanked all for the gesture while extending her heartfelt blessings to all management and staff of the company.

To the music of Dionne Warwick’s That’s What Friends Are For in the background, the former chief sub-editor was toasted by the gathering.

Here, Benskin (right) is all smiles as her former workmates pose for the camera. (WG)
