T20 match in Sir Charles honour

As a tribute to former Barbados and West Indies fast bowler Sir Charles Griffith, Lords will oppose fellow St. Lucy team North Stars in a Twenty20 night cricket match at the Charlie Griffith Centre in Lowlands on Sunday, starting at 6.

Sir Charles, with his roots in the northern parish of St. Lucy, played 28 Test matches, taking 94 wickets at an average of 28.54. In 96 first-class matches, he took 332 wickets at 21.60 runs apiece.
