The day was filled with lots of excitement as the athletes ran the 100m, 200m, 400m, 600m, 800m and relays while participating in some other events such as the cricket ball throw and long jump. Despite the humid weather, there were some outstanding performances led by Karissa Bowen of Orange House who won the Under-13 Girls 100m, 200m, 400m, 600m and anchored her team to victory in the Girls 4x100m relay as she was unstoppable. Bowen’s dominance came as no surprise because she trains with Elite Distance Programme. While Bowen and fellow Under-13 participant Elijah Marshall of Gold House stood out on the track along with a few other athletes, there were no official results up to press regarding the overall or individual champions. morissalindsay@barbadostoday.bb You Might Be Interested In Crystal Beckles-Holder, 2nd runner up in regional competition Business owners disappointed Police investigate shooting Barbados Today Traffic You may also like RM Cleaners win knockout domino title 29/06/2026 Primary School Volleyball Festival boosts skills at Wildey Gym 29/06/2026 St Giles shine during EU/NSC Road Tennis competition 29/06/2026
