The 37-year-old of Odessa McClean Avenue, My Lord’s Hill is charged with possession of an illegal firearm and 13 rounds of ammunition on December 22. He could not plead to the charges before the District ‘A’ Magistrates’ Court located at Cane Garden, St Thomas as they are indictable and can only be tried before the High Court. The accused, who is represented by attorney-at-law Angella Mitchell-Gittens, will make his next appearance before the court on January 25, 2023.
