YES is a 10-week programme where Rotary Club of Barbados collaborates with the Juvenile Liaison scheme of the Barbados Police Force and the Rotaract Club of Barbados (RaCOB) to deliver the programme. The theme for this cohort was Core Values and each week the young participants were exposed to personal development activities, which can help to instill values such as honesty and integrity. Rotary is the oldest service club in the world with a global network of 1.2 million individuals serving in 200 countries with more than 35,000 clubs in a cohesive force for good. ย Rotarians see a world where people unite and take action to create lasting change โ across the globe, in our communities, and in ourselves. The most notable example at the global level is the three-decade fight to eradicate polio. Rotary was introduced to Barbados 61 years ago and our club was chartered in 1962. From its inception, the Rotary Club of Barbados has always been able to conform to the long-established principles of Rotary International in recruiting its members and filling classifications from the top executives in business, professions, and services.
