Thomas has the entrepreneurial spirit

Shirlon Roderiquez-Thomas is the co-owner of Thomas’ Exquisite Pro Cleaning and Maintenance Services, which she operates from Regency Park, Christ Church with her husband.

The company offers general and full cleaning of residential and commercial properties, window cleaning and small maintenance services at an affordable price.

A desire to have her own business after many years of working for other companies and a passion for cleaning led Roderiquez-Thomas and her husband to open the business.

“I started working in a store at a young age. I remember praying and asking God to make a way for me out of St. Vincent and
The Grenadines because I was going through a lot at the time. One day I told my husband that I wanted to start my own cleaning company and he supported me, leading us to have Thomas’ Exquisite Pro Cleaning and Maintenance Services,” she explained.

Roderiquez-Thomas said entrepreneurship has taught her to never give up on her dreams, as she wished for many years to have a better life for herself and her family. After years of hard work, she is now enjoying the fruits of her labour, having built a successful company.

“I am pleased to now have my own business that I can pass on to my children. One thing that entrepreneurship has taught me is that anyone can become what they want to be in life. All they have to do is follow their dreams and never give up,” she said.

Roderiquez-Thomas said she has been receiving an influx of customers due to her professionalism and reliability.

“All of our clients tell us they love how reliable we are and that they know they can depend on us. Our team consists of professional, honest, and trustworthy personnel who take pride in their work so much so that many of our clients are astonished at how beautiful their home looks after we have cleaned it,” she said.
