Playing at the Wildey Astro Turf last night, the lady Tridents handed St Lucia another heavy defeat as they blanked them 6-0 to complete a 2-0 series win in front of their home crowd. Overseas-based players Acacia Small and Cheyanna Burnett-Griffith opened the floodgates with strikes in the 17th and 25th minutes respectively, while Rianna Cyrus netted in the 29th minute, Shanice Stevenson (41st) and Kerisha Catlyn (76th) also added goals before Jessie Robinson capped off a fine performance with a goal in the 87th minute. The result meant that Barbados continued their winning form following their 5-1 victory on Friday night. (AGB) Barbados Today Stay informed and engaged with our digital news platform.
