Barbadian football sensation Thierry Gale continued his goal-scoring form by scoring a brace today as FC Dila Gori defeated Shukura 3-2 in the Georgia top flight Erovnuli Liga.
Gale, a 21 year-old who hails from Fairy Valley, Christ Church, has now netted eight times in five matches to help his team move up to fifth in the league.
He slotted home from close range in the 16th minute before unleashing an excellent right-footed curler to double his team’s advantage four minutes later.
The former Notre Dame and Pro-Shottas striker carried his impressive form from March’s international break when he produced the equaliser for Barbados in a 2-1 win over Antigua and Barbuda at the Sir Viv Richards Stadium in North Sound, St John’s. (AGB)
