Magistrate Douglas Frederick imposed the sentence on the teenager on Friday after he completed 80 hours of community service. “Reprimanded and discharged. No conviction to be recorded. Don’t behave like that again on the plane,” he told Bellot when he appeared in the District ‘B’ Magistrates’ Court on Friday. The teenager had admitted to behaving in a manner which interfered with the discharging of the functions and duties of a crew member by uttering the words “bomb the plane” while onboard JetBlue flight B662 on July 5. In the facts previously disclosed by Sergeant Victoria Taitt, Bellot was travelling with his family and was scheduled to depart on the flight to the US when the incident occurred. According to the information, he was on the aircraft standing among a group of teenagers by the boarding door when he said, “Somebody going to bomb the plane.” You Might Be Interested In Crystal Beckles-Holder, 2nd runner up in regional competition GUYANA: Body of child found after gold mine collapses Barbadians asked to help with return tickets for Haitians A flight attendant was conducting her duties at the time and became alarmed.
