Around 5:50 p.m. on Sunday, police responded to a traffic collision involving a car and 71-year-old Squires, along Lodge Road, Christ Church. The elderly man of Cliff Cottage, St John, who was identified by a family member, was pronounced dead at the scene. Barbados TODAY‘s efforts to reach out to Jones proved futile. However, in a post on his Facebook page, the grieving son expressed the pain he was feeling over the loss of his father. “He was to enjoy his old age and become feeble and cross over at 120 years old, but not like this. I am broken and in need of prayers. No long conversation, just tell me, ‘bless’.
