A window of opportunity has opened for hundreds of Barbadians looking to explore employment possibilities internationally.

Chief executive officer of Trinity Recruitment Services Inc. Judeen Scantlebury told Barbados TODAY that the company recently reached a milestone in its operations by becoming a go-to source for trained professionals to work on a new multi-million dollar project in Saudi Arabia.

Scantlebury said this development will be a game changer in employment possibilities for Barbadians as she disclosed she was about to conduct a mass recruitment campaign to satisfy the needs of her partners.

“Trinity Services Inc. has been recently approved as an official supplier for Neom in Saudi Arabia. This partnership marks a significant milestone for Trinity Recruitment Services as it positions us as a trusted and reliable entity for sourcing candidates in various industries beyond Barbados and the Caribbean. Neom is a prominent company that recognises the need of top talent to sustain and expand their operations. With this partnership, Trinity Recruitment Services enables Neom to tap into our extensive network. We will be working with local and international recruiters to pre-screen and interview people on a 24-hour basis. We plan to source people from Barbados, other islands in the Caribbean and South America,” Scantlebury said.

“The Middle East has a thriving economy and this ground-breaking mega city project is perfect for people looking to get involved in futuristic employment opportunities, try something different and gain international experience. Outside of the city, there are other ongoing projects as well and we are also catering to those projects. ”

Scantlebury said the project had a capacity for several million people and a mass recruitment campaign was therefore needed.

The areas her company will supply for the Neom project include retail, finance, cabin crew, ground handling, food and beverage, healthcare, cargo, marine staff, all corporate staffing departments, technical and information technology, maintenance, construction, customer service and hotel services.

Scantlebury explained that recruitment had already begun for the project and her company will be starting its own process soon.

“We just wanted to let people know that this futuristic type of employment is available to them early and that they can start submitting their resumes, which should be well structured, to give recruiters an easy to understand grasp of their talents and achievements that will make them fit for an interview.

“We also wanted to get the word out early because this will be a relocation venture for the candidates. We want them to fully understand the working arrangements so they can plan to move their families properly,” she explained.

The businesswoman added that additional announcements will be made soon about the job opportunities on the company’s website and social media pages.

She said she could not give an exact timeline as to when work will commence but wanted to put Barbadians on notice that employment opportunities were forthcoming.
