The all clear has been given for work to resume at the Supreme Court Complex after fire officials determined there was no gas leak.

Station Officer Roger Bourne of the Barbados Fire Service Bridgetown Division explained that the smell which triggered the alarm did not come from a gas leak but from a leaking compressed canister within the hydraulic doors of the Registration Department.

Two fire tenders had responded to the call. (JB)
