The singer, who has recently released his latest single Higher just over a month ago on YouTube, has amassed more than 10,000 views and is slowly becoming a viral sensation. The single Higher is the song track for his recently released album Higher, which is a mixture of dancehall and reggae music. “The album came about as I wanted to showcase a more mature and conscious side of myself as an artiste as I sought to inspire future generations to come with my message. The album was designed to be more spiritually inclined and leave persons walking away with a positive message,” he said. Eugene’s entry into music started back in 2004 when he entered a local dub competition. Since then he has worked with major dancehall and reggae artistes, such as Bugle and Shac, some of whom are featured on his upcoming album. “It was a pleasure to work with Bugle and Shac on this album. The engineer I work with understands what I am looking for in terms of my sound for the album. I must also thank Guchydon and T-Rex for working with me to complete this album,” he said.
