Man in custody following robbery along Culloden Road, St Michael

A person of interest is in custody following a robbery along Culloden Road. St Michael that was captured on video and widely circulated via social media.
Police Communications and Public Affairs Officer Inspector Rodney Inniss reported that around 11:40 a.m., two women, ages 71 and 65, were robbed by three males.
“One was reportedly robbed of jewellery, chain and a bracelet and suffered some injuries to her hand, wrist and neck,” he said.
Investigations are continuing.
