Kerry Skeete told Barbados TODAY that this year she was supported so well by businesses that she is even more encouraged to move forward with the event which she considers her way of giving back to the community. “Everything was brilliant in terms of support, sponsors and corporate aid. It was way bigger than last year,” she said. “However, because of the rain, we did not have as many people as last year but there was an excess amount of food, gifts and everything.” Despite overcast skies and drizzles, children were seen playing musical chairs, enjoying deejay-supplied music and two large jumping tents. The close-knit community came alive with the Christmas spirit with the smiles of those who came out in the name of family and good fun. It was very easy to get corporate sponsors,” she said. Skeete was thankful to Dream Team Entertainment for sponsoring the event as well as the others who contributed to the success of the event. “I would like to thank everyone including Pharmaceutical Plus, News on the Go, Dream Team, Upper Level Bar, Zephrins Bakeries, Bashbrothazbim, Seirka, Avg Investment Inc., and Live Well Clinic, among many others,” she said.
