Tonneil Neshan Rashida Rowe, of Kew Road, Tudor Bridge, St Michael, appeared before Magistrate Carolyn Ward Sargeant in the District ‘B’ Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday after being charged in connection with almost a quarter-million dollars worth of cannabis following an investigation by the Narcotics Division of the Barbados Police Service. Rowe, who arrived at the Grantley Adams International Airport on a flight from Canada on Saturday, is charged with possession, trafficking, importation and intent to supply 30.45 kilogrammes of cannabis valued at $243 600. She is also accused of committing money laundering involving $10,599.22. Rowe, who secured bail with one surety, is scheduled to return to court on February 20.
