Zebulin Jahlani Sawh of Husbands Gardens, St James, is accused of recklessly discharging a firearm in a public place and in a manner which placed Rashawn Tudor, Jamaine Barnes, Allison Small and Rashawn Mayers in danger of death or serious bodily harm on April 12. The labourer is also charged that on that day, he used unlawful violence towards Tudor, and his conduct was such as would cause another person of reasonable firmness present at the scene to fear for the other person’s personal safety. Sawh is also accused of using a firearm when he was not the holder of a valid licence to do so. In addition, he is charged that, without lawful excuse, he damaged one panel of glass belonging to Savings Plus Incorporated, being reckless as to whether such property would be damaged. He appeared before Chief Magistrate Ian Weekes in the District ‘A’ Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday. The accused, who is represented by attorney Martie Garnes, will return to court on May 21.
