The objective is to give the youth that we have skating on the island the best opportunity to skate and to get practice in a competition environment. โIn this yearโs Gromfest we have 10 registered contestants; six in the Under-16 and then everybody can enter the Open. Skateboarding is for everybody and we have a wide range of age groups in our community, but Gromfest really is youth-focused,โ Bowen said.
