A 42-year-old man is on remand at Dodds Prison after appearing in court on Friday charged with the death of Chefette worker Sonia Parris.
A breakthrough in the case led police to charge Andre Pedro Small, a resident of the corner of Bynoe Road, Worthings View & Rendezvous Road, Christ Church.
He was not required to plead to the indictable charge when he appeared in the District ‘C’ Magistrates’ Court located at Oistins, Christ Church.
Small is scheduled to make an appearance at the District ‘B’ Magistrates’ Court located at the Eric Holder Complex in Horse Hill, St Joseph, next Thursday.
Parris, a 58-year-old resident of Edey Village, Christ Church, disappeared on April 17.
