Some SSA workers are off the job

Over 75 workers at the Wildey depot of the Sanitation Service Authority are off the job.

The action started around 6 a.m. and Barbados TODAY understands the workers are protesting against the non-payment of a promised allowance.

At the scene, workers were meeting with union representatives.
