Toriano Tracy Hunte will reappear in the No. 3 Supreme Court next Friday to be sentenced for a gun crime he committed 12 years ago.

Hunte, 52, of Queen Victoria Road, Bank Hall was arraigned before Justice Carlisle Greaves and admitted to having a .45 automatic calibre semi-automatic pistol without a valid licence and seven rounds of .45 ammunition without a valid permit on May 12, 2012.

Principal State Counsel Neville Watson accepted the plea on behalf of the State. Hunte is represented by King’s Counsel Andrew Pilgrim.

The matter was adjourned to June 21 when the facts will be read and the judge will sentence Hunte for his illegal possession of the gun and bullets.
