Daisha Sade Monisha Williams, 20, of Bullens Avenue, Dalkeith Road and Lashona Aliyah Burgess, 19, of Scott’s Gap, Brittons Hill, were jointly charged with causing a disturbance at the Fairchild Street branch of KFC on July 4. They both pleaded not guilty to the offence. Williams was separately accused of unlawfully assaulting Burgess and unlawfully and maliciously wounding her on the same date. She pleaded not guilty to the charges. Both women were placed on $5 000 bail and told to return to court on September 23. Burgess was represented by attorney Sherisse Dottin in association with Michael Lashley KC. Williams was unrepresented.
