Police probe suspected drowning of visitor

Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the suspected drowning of a Costa Rican visitor who was staying at Bushy Park, Rockley Golf Course and Country Club, Rockley, Christ Church.

Police said the body was discovered about 8:50 a.m. on Tuesday in a pool at the club. The club’s pool technician found the body in the pool and reported the matter to management who informed the police. A friend with whom the deceased was travelling, identified the body.

The deceased arrived on the island on July 12 with a number of friends and was scheduled to depart the island on July  20.
