Police identify man who drowned at Brownes Beach

Police have identified the victim of Saturday’s drowning incident at Brownes Beach, St Michael. He is Errol Thorpe, 75, of Groves, St George. Police said Thorpe was seen floating in the water at around 2:30 p.m. Thorpe was pulled from the water and transported to the QEH where he was pronounced dead.
