Evans Maurice Malcolm also known as Poodle of Lower Brighton, St George had been charged with causing serious bodily harm to Clyde Alman with intent to maim, disfigure or disable him on September 12, 2011. He was also charged with a second count of inflicting serious bodily harm on Alman on the same date. The complainant in the case never appeared in court despite being warned by the police to do so.
