England beat the West Indies by 10 wickets to win third Test

England captain Ben Stokes hit a whirlwind unbeaten fifty as his side thrashed the West Indies by 10 wickets in the third Test at Edgbaston on Sunday.

Set 82 to win, England finished on 87-0 in just 7.2 overs. Stokes — opening in place of the injured Zak Crawley — was 55 not out off a mere 28 balls as England completed a 3-0 series whitewash with more than two days to spare.

Completed scoreboard on the third day of the third Test between England and the West Indies at Edgbaston on Sunday:

West Indies 1st Innings 282 (K Brathwaite 61, J Holder 59; G Atkinson 4-47, C Woakes 3-69)

England 1st Innings 376 (J Smith 95, J Root 87, C Woakes 62, B Stokes 54; A Joseph 4-122, J Seales 3-79)
