The team returned home on Tuesday after the week-long tournament concluded on Monday. Barbados accumulated 33 points in team competitions and 13 points in individual events. In team matches, they won three women’s doubles, two men’s doubles, two mixed doubles, and two mixed triple-doubles. The individual section saw three wins in men’s singles and one in women’s singles. Florida won the championship with 100 points, followed by Bahamas with 94 and Trinidad and Tobago with 74. Guyana placed fourth with 67 points, while Turks and Caicos (40) and Jamaica (37) finished sixth and seventh respectively. In team events, Barbados scored one point more than Guyana. The Bahamas led the team standings with 49 points, while Florida and Trinidad and Tobago tied at 45 points each. Athelstone Forde was the highest-ranked Barbadian, finishing eighth overall with eight points. In women’s doubles, Eloise Martin and Shelly Taylor reached the semi-finals, while Wendy Barrow-Smith and Telma Alleyne made it to the quarterfinals. Roger Edwards and Kelly Phillips reached the quarterfinals in men’s doubles. The Barbados junior darts team placed fourth with 15 points. Florida Youths won with 25 points, followed by Trinidad and Tobago (19) and Bahamas (18). Turks and Caicos (8) and Jamaica (6) finished fifth and sixth. In the junior category, Kienna Greene finished as runner-up in the female individual section, losing to Elizabeth Cartwright of the Bahamas in the final.
