Two St James men on murder charges

KingAziz Carter, 21, and Lamar Marlon Charlemagne, 26, both of Risk Road, Fitts Village, St James, have been arrested and jointly charged in connection with a series of serious offences committed on Friday, August 9, in Durants Village, St James.

Police say the charges against Carter and Charlemagne include:

• The murder of Jaydan Murray.
• Wounding with intent to injure Jabarry Bennett.
• Endangering the life of Police Constable Khomi Jemmott (#2299).
• Possession of a firearm.
• Use of a firearm.

Both men appeared in the District ‘A’ Magistrates’ Court #1 on Saturday.

They have been remanded to Dodds Prison and are scheduled to reappear in the Holetown Magistrate Court on Monday, September 16.
