This special event will take place on Sunday, October 27th at 6:00 p.m. in the intimate setting of the Frank Collymore Hall, Bridgetown. Patrons will be treated to performances by an array of exceptionally talented artists, including Paula Hinds, Michael Mikey Mercer, Shaquon Smith, Betty B, dancer and choreographer Keisha Amory-Lewis, Dancin’ Africa, the Mighty Gabby, and the star of the evening, Mr. Blood himself. “The ‘Blood-line’” is a heartfelt tribute to Anderson “Mr. Blood” Armstrong, celebrating his remarkable journey from his early days as ‘Young Blood’ to his current status as a multifaceted artist and mentor. Encouraged and supported in his early career, Mr. Blood has dedicated himself to nurturing young talent through his platform, Reddhead Records Inc., for over twenty-five years. Mr. Blood is a celebrated songwriter, producer, musician, radio personality, actor, and singer. His versatility spans genres including calypso, jazz, R&B, reggae, and gospel. He has captivated audiences on regional and international stages, both as a solo performer and with the band Square One. His phenomenal social media presence further attests to his widespread appeal. This year marks forty-one years of Mr. Blood’s illustrious career, during which he has continually attracted a diverse audience and garnered significant media attention. We anticipate an attendance of over four hundred and fifty patrons, including music fans, sponsors, and members of the cultural community.
