The sweet sounds of the school’s steel orchestra and energetic displays by the cheerleading squad greeted the pupils as they entered the Oistins, Christ Church institution. New principal Dr Wendy Lewis also took the opportunity to interact with some of the students. In-person classes were delayed by one week due to incomplete renovations. On Sunday, officials from the Ministry of Education, the principal, the board of management and the teachers’ union toured the school and agreed that face-to-face classes could resume.
