Bajan is Mega 6 millionaire

Barbados’ newest millionaire received his $1 840 000 cheque on Friday. Mark Forde purchased a Mega 6 lottery ticket from the Rubis Gas Station at Market Hill and was shocked when his numbers were called in draw number 5409 on September 5, making him an instant millionaire.

He said the win was timely, and he plans to invest it in his business.

Mega 6 has paid out over $6.5 million in winnings so far this year.
