At just 26 years old, Dominique Davis is making waves in the fashion world with her new swimwear brand, 4.24. A creative powerhouse from a young age, Davis always knew she wanted to explore the artistic side of herself.

“I’ve always been a character,” she reflects, “and if you look at some of my designs, you get pieces of my creativity.”

The name 4.24 is deeply personal — it’s Davis’ birthday. For her, the brand isn’t just a business; it’s an extension of her identity.

“This brand will always be important and special to me, and I wanted the name to reflect that,” she said.

Davis’ vision for 4.24 is ambitious yet heartfelt. “I hope to amplify culture and create a unique footprint in both the local and international markets,” she said.

By blending culture, beauty, inclusivity, and fashion, she aims to disrupt and amplify the swimwear industry.

For Davis, 4.24 is more than just swimwear; it’s a celebration of Barbadian culture. Inspired by her love for fashion and her roots, she sees each piece as a wearable expression of the island’s vibrancy. Whether you’re a local representing your heritage or a visitor taking a piece of Barbados home, 4.24 offers something special for everyone.

Having trained under Lauren Austin and designed costumes for Barbados’ Crop Over festival, Davis brings a unique perspective to swimwear. These experiences have equipped her with the tools to bring bold and creative ideas to life in a way that feels authentic and fresh.

What sets 4.24 apart is its ability to merge the richness of Barbadian culture with contemporary swimwear designs, creating pieces that resonate beyond aesthetics. Davis is particularly excited about a new print set to launch soon, promising to share her enthusiasm with fans and bringing even more cultural vibrancy to her work.

Davis is passionate about inspiring others, particularly aspiring entrepreneurs and creatives. Her advice? “If you believe it, you’ll eventually see it. Our dreams pick us, and we show our dreams they made the right choice. Focus on your craft, and eventually, collaboration will come knocking.”

With plans to expand 4.24 regionally and internationally, Dominique is poised to inspire designers worldwide. Her message is clear: believe in your vision, and you can make it a reality. (PR)
