Omel Justin Walrond of Tudor Bridge, St Michael, appeared before Chief Magistrate Ian Weekes in the District ‘A’ Magistrates’ Court on Thursday, accused of murdering Rochester on January 2. He was not required to plead to the indictable charge. Sergeant Rochester, a 50-year-old police officer with over 30 years of service, died in a hit-and-run incident.
